AT PRO pulls out an oldie

did a qiuck hunt with the AT PRO last weekend, hit an old beach i've hunted many times before, after a few modern coins came to light i checked a large hole left by some kids & out came this oldie a UK 1875 penny it's seen better days the salt has eaten away poor queen victorias head but still a cool find.

I dont know how many kid's craters I've checked...always hopeful...but never a surprise like that one...sounds like you might need a GPX on that beach.;)
 
Mick this is the 4th vic coin i've got outta this beach & lots of early aussie coins have come out to.
Furious T the hole was about 2m long x 1m wide x1.5 f deep so not your average kiddy crater.
