Dos anybody have a problam with the pins binding on the AT-Pro / Gold???? Thanks,

If you mean the buttons to adjust the shaft-no When i initially assembled it ,sprayed bottom shaft(just the area that goes into the middle tube) with silicon lube. I dont disassemble it for transport, if I did , would have sprayed upper joint also.

Ya my Bad i just read my post i know what i ment??? LOL , The Pins on the Headphones / Coil connectors Had mi AT-Pro 4R eight months the HP Connector Pins Just startid the Bind???? Mickfin

No one Really???????

I have not YET. Nothing I hate worse than the coil / head phone set up. Can hardly see in there to line it all up and then it's so dang hard to screw in. HUGE mistake on Garrett's part!

I read A LOT here, fantastic information, love the product specific section.

Take a yellow paint pen and put some allignment dots on the plugs. Makes it easier. I've had to tweak the pins a couple of times to get them alligned.

For land hunting, I'd suggest getting the adapter so you can use any phones you want and be able to plug in your phones the normal way and not have to hassle with lining up the pins.

Unfortunately, if you submerge your AT and need the phone connection to be watertight then you dont have the adapter alternative

Hello, with the connector pins have had no problems but with the connectors. I sent him to the house and fixed it at no cost. Since then disconnected only in case of absolute necessity, is a part of the machine that just will not like it. Also I have painted some reference points to plug. I use Tippex, writing corrector
