I am taking the plunge and putting money down on an AT Pro. I had considered many options for a beach & water detector and decided that Garrett was the most reasonably priced. With a family of four I don't have a thousand dollars to throw down on a second detector. And you cannot beat their service record. So I will be lurking here through the winter ..... glad to be back in the Garrett family ... lots of good folks with useful tips. Stay warm and have a happy holiday & new year !!
 
Congrats, you won't regret it. I wouldn't trade mine for anything.
 
Welcome back!:wave:Yeah, it took me a little while to jump on the band wagon. I was tired of all the hype on the AT Pro. Then I got one and WOW! That AT Pro has impressed the heck out of me. It's sooooo good in iron infested areas. Super fast recovery and target seperation. Simply amazing. Incredible iron discrimination THE BEST iron discrimination of any machine that I have ever used. Awesome technology. Hits hard on gold and silver, too!:garrett::detecting:Best of luck to ya!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)
 
I would put my money on U doing good with the ATPRO around the your lakes . But Dave the world is going to end in 2012:rofl: and U dont have much time, so getter done...................

Joel, I would certainly have it by then. I'm just not sure if I am going next time around .. that's a very long and boring drive.
