AT Pro on freshwater.

I would like to know how the AT Pro is working for you freshwater hunters. One of my main concerns is sand getting in the buttons of the machine. Second concern is the ergonomics of the new coil when sweeping through the water. Is there much fatigue in sweeping it and is the coil one that sinks or does it float.
Thanks for any input.

I got sand on and in my buttons from beach hunting. I just flicked it out. Here is a video of the pro in the water. Looks like the coil sinks.

Sehr nette!

LOL-it means 'very nice'! I haven't used mine in water yet but I liked the video. You may end up having to wait before there are any real water hunting results with it being winter. I'm taking mine to a potential cache spot this weekend that may require getting wet-I have the waders ready just in case! Now there won't be any sand to worry with but plenty of silty water if it does have to be dunked. I have the std phones though so I'm not planning on getting just too wet..
