Well it's not the neatness looking modifications, but it works for me. first we know the issue about the arm cuff and the length, headphone adaptor, lack of rod clamps. Well here's what I did. Electric taped the upper and lower poles where they meet( took care of that issue), then I took a piece of 3/4 conduit pipe sliped it over the end and mounted a different arm cuff( took care of that), bought some 1/2" pvc with some elbows & Tee's for the stand(took care of that). someone talked about when pressing the button he hit others ones. I bought a pack of rubber bumpers and stuck them on the most 2 used buttons( look close, took care of that). Now for add protections in the woods where I go crazy sticking the coil in and around anything to get a target, I bought some wire protection cover( took care of that) all for just over $5.00.
wire cover - $2.00 5 foot length
PVC pipe- $1.17
rubber bumpers- $2.49 a pack
arm cuff $0.00 laying around my shop
TOTAL $5.66
Now I'm ready to detect!!!

Did you make your own headphone adapter?

I've been thinking about making one, just need to find the waterproof connector for the machine end.

I got me in a AT Pro about 10 days ago and still checking it out before the snow is gone and ground thawed, seem impressive and yet there are something I don't like and will post more when I check it out more.
One thing is the headphones I don't like and when I get out i want to use my own high end phones as I need the volume and the noise blocking ear cups, so I want to know if anyone has one or where one can be got as it needs to be one to convert my headphones (probably my Uni Probe) to the AT Pro connector. Can anyone help me find something like this??

Thanks
Rick

You can order an adapter directly from Garrett. I have seen them listed on the Kellyco site but can not find the direct link right now.

Garrett had some manufacturing problems with the adaptor and will be delayed a bit.
