AT Pro is here and first hunt

The UPS man brought me my new AT Pro tonight, I assembled it and off we went! I took her to a local beach near my house since I didn't have a lot of time. I have never cared for binary audio, so I went straight for the Pro Audio and loved it! I had a good, but short hunt, found some clad, nothing special, and some trash. All in all it was a great first hunt! I am looking forward to logging many more hours with my AT.

Pay very close attention to the audio sounds while hunting in Pro Mode. This machine can give some pretty good information on targets just by the sounds. Before you dig a suspected piece of junk listen to the audio. I can easily tell the end of a pencil eraser by the sound. Listen........

Thanks mark, that's sound advice (pun intended). I will make it a point to listen carefully. I know with my other Garretts, it took approximately a year, like they say, to really get to know the machine intimately. I am sure the AT Pro is no different. But I look forward to every minute.

That's a good first hunt.

I just recieved my AT Gold and love it.
