Just spoke to Mayra from Garrett. They shipped my Atpro back today. It should take about three days to arrive in Florida. This is the second time around the machine was worked on. When I got it back the first time, it kept falsing. Mayra told me they replaced the coil and re-calibrated the machine. I

Got the At back on Friday. The falsing has been fixed, they even threw in a Garrett digging tool. I went to the beach on Saturday, recovered about a dollar and a half in clad. Was hitting pennies at 10+ inches no problem on the audio, I was using standard mode I hit the park for about an hour on Sunday, not much luck, lot of trash. I did great on pro mode in determining the metal. Dug up a few old bush beer cans.

Hi Steve,

I mailed mine back today. It was Falsing anytime I hit the sand at the beach or if I bum bed into a grass stalk. It also falsed if I twisted my wrist with the coil at waist high. Is this what yours was doing? Were you getting the falses on the beach sand if you bumped it? To tell you the truth I thought all detectors falsed if you hit the salt sand, but then I saw some videos showing otherwise.

Thanks

Also on the beach the machine kept falsing. The problem is fixed !!!!!!!!!!!! The second time is a charm On the turn around issue from the factory, depending on where you live,, it was about 8-10 days to the factory in TX and back to south Florida.
