A reality check for the new people starting in this wonderful hobby. There are lots of good targets to be had, however, you have to dig a lot of junk to get the good stuff.
Past couple of weekend hunts....about 9 hours worth of hunting. A darn good way to loose a few pounds.
Wow that is a fantastic haul of coin / bling And of course the evil side of digging crown caps, pull tabs, bottle tops and iron odds -n- ends. But it aids in weight loss and builds knee and leg muscles with all those extra knee bends!
Nice finds, John. I finally got out for the second time this year and only for a couple hours, but nothing like what you found. 24 cents in clad, but Frisbee full of trash. Kids were swimming at the lake and I was cold in my waders. Young blood is hot and old blood is cold.
