AT Pro in the field coil scrubbing video

Took the AT Pro out to the old cycle track where the wheat stubble is from 6" to 18" tall and hard to run you coil through. Decided to do a quick video to show I got no false signals even under these tough conditions. Found was a 1911 barber dime, a 1901 Indian Head, a 1900 Indian Head(not pictured and a 1929 wheat(not pictured).

Nice video and very nice finds !!

I was running both Std Zero and Pro Zero with sensitivity at default 7 and neither gave me any problems with false signals. I'm quite confident that this would have caused false signals from bumping the coil If mine had those issues. It was rock solid.

At Pro runs smooth on the salt water beaches i hunt and in the woods, but in the fields it does not run smooth when encountering stubbles or roots.

a portion of a video i made tues.

I would say there is either quite a difference between our AT Pro's or you have yours turned up very high and some series jiggling going on. I can make mine give false signals If I crank it up full sensitivity and jiggle it, but as you can see under my normal use I have no problems as it's hitting wheat stalks.

so in your video u do not have it cranked to the max...........

i have not tried it cranked down any, i will do that on my next spin in the dirt.

run it cranked up on the wet sand and it only falses when i jag the coil in the sand by accident.

thanks
i will keep us posted

Thanks for these helpful videos. I just ordered my AT Pro today - my first modern detector after having an old Radio Shack which finally pooped out on me. I'm sure I'll be leaning hard on the advice of others when I get the detector next week. I too will keep folks posted on my experiences and am hopeful of much success.

BTW, I ordered from New England Detectors after receiving good reports about NED on this site. Andrew was great to work with and really was helpful even though Connecticut is buried in snow and ice.
