AT Pro Headphones?

That's like asking what's the best all-round car to buy!! Everybody's gonna have an opinion. Without the use of the adapter, you only have 2 choices and they are both Garrett 'phones. With the adapter, you can use any you like, just don't get the adapter plug wet. My Killer B's are pretty sweet and I just bought a set of Koss 'phones, seems like they are CZ-99's, not sure, something 99's. Excellent sound and have noise cancelling and will be great this winter as nothing gets inside those bad boys!! I haven't tried my Jolly Rogers yet, but I'm sure they will do just fine too!!

I hear great things about the Koss unit but I like one ear uncovered so I can hear what's around me as well as the detector. I went with the DetectorPro Rattlers for that reason. Used 'em last weekend and really liked them.

I've found that some phones simply do not work as well as others on the same machine. Water phones have a much lower volume and some phones seem to distort target response tones. The Garrett land phones seem to work very good on the ATP. I can hear into the target signature pretty good in Pro Mode. For me the blue water phones lose some of that. I know hearing is different, but before I purchase the land phone adaptor, I thought I might research phones working good with the ATP for others. Comfort and good audio are more important to me than just raw volume. Thanks for all recommendations.
