AT PRO Headphone connection

For the NON Waterproof headphones. Is the AT PRO waterproof at the connection ? I understand about not being able to submerse the phones themselves, but what about the connection on the detector/?
 
The connection is waterproof with the standard headphones. Just don't dunk the headphones themselves.

What if you are wading and not using headphones at aIl? I would think at least the screw cap to cover the connector pins.
