At Pro headphone adapter and headphones

Waterdog

Well-known member
I just put a headphone adapter on the Garrett At Pro and my old Sunray Gold headphones. Wow what a difference, I could hear more tones than what they say the machine has. I could hear when I was over a coin better than before. I only wish I had done this before I dug up all that trash that I thought was good stuff under the coil.

So compared to the stock garrett phones you think they Golds are that much better? I have never used any others besides the stockers and wasnt sure how worth it would be to get a better pair.

I was impressed with the Gold when Waterdog let me try it this afternoon. I have to agree the sound is a lot clearer than the stock. But I'm not going to give up my stock anytime soon... haha.

Trust me a real good quality set of headphones such as the Golds or Grey Ghost or Killer bs or Black Widows ETC,ETC will enhance the tones on the AT Pro a lot better than the stock headphones and also are a lot more comfortable to wear as well

Just got a adaptor and a new pair of sun ray gold phones as well. the stock phones will be going up for sale soon. There not even worth having as a backup IMO.
