Sandy parking lot about a an acre. Once was a site of a old hotel. Not a lot of pull tabs, but loaded with can slaw and iron. (Rusty nuts, bolts, washers) All setting on hard sand. I set it up on 40 dis. 3-4 bars of sens. The standard dd coil picked its way around for about 2 hours. Never sounded off on iron once, did have some iffy tones (pieces of alum) The beaches here are about vacuumed so this was a good outing.
43 coins. $2.35. No goodies. Not too bad considering signs that this lot had been recently hunted. Land/ fresh water, dry sand, this machine is hard to beat for the money. Course, any machine can be only as good as where your hunting it.
PS. Could have filled 2 buckets up with the iron that was laying around.

Nice finds!

Good job of adjusting to conditions! You just never know what's in the dirt 'till you get your coil over it - I hope the next site is full of old goodness!

Almost quota and that is great for this time of year. pro is not a bad back up machine and does work in places my main machine...Freedom 3 Plus cannot detect due to soil and high power lines!
