Here's 4 hours worth of hunting. It included some sports fields, snow-less hills and woods. Also got two flash showers. I got soaked, but not a problem for the AT Pro:devil:. Had I hunted with a different machine, I would have missed out on some silver bounty.

Below are the finds after a quick cleanup......

Nice hunt!:garrett::detecting: Cool finds! :clapping: Good clad haul! Congrats on the silver!:beers: Very nice! Happy Hunting!:)

nice founds pal...

what was the vdi on for the rings and how deep?

congrats

Good clad finds and a nice silver:clapping:

It was in the low 80's. but....the AT Pro really bangs hard on rings. You know you have something round and holed under the coil be it a ring or a round pull tab. It is very similar to the Garrett Scorpion in that respect. A great feature to have if you like looking for rings.

Actually a couple

What setting do you run ?.

What sens do you usually run ?.

What is the average depth of your coin finds ?.

I am running the machine in PRO Mode with the sensitivity one notch behind full throttle. I run my sensitivity up to 30. I try to use the iron audio turned on as much as possible, however, some places just have too much iron and it wears me down listening to all those signals. I just turn it off. Most of my coins are in the top couple of inches, with the odd one down to 6-8 inches. Now bear in mind that I am using the 9" x 12" coil, because it gives me a more solid audio off the inner front toe when pinpointing off of it. And that audio gives me hints of whether the target will probably be a coin, a ring or junk plus it's probable depth.

I'm trying to figure out how best to run the Pro and get max results.. I use the Fisher and T2 machines. so am familiar with a lot of the Pro's operation.
Those units have the DD coils and the pretty close numeric Id's as the Pro. They also have process settings for tones. Also the boost which to me seems like that is what the pro mode is.. a boost of power over the standard mode.........Appreciate your reply Sir.

Hi John,
You're a class act. Every time I read your posts, I get a new idea. Happy Hunting and thanks for the positive attitude AND INFORMATION you bring to this forum.

I am having a ball with this excellent machine. GO At PRO!
