AT PRO/GOLD scratch free outfit

I made these outfit for my AT PRO and GOLD...(treat it right and it will find good stuff LOL). On my latest one I don't wrap the coil around the shaft anymore. Let me know what you guys think...happy hunting.

They look like they love the snuggles. Did you use thin neoprene or some other material?
On the coil cable. I run mine straight up the lower rod then wrap it so I can take the shaft apart with ease. It saves on some falsing when in the water.
I do 99% of my detecting in the water and I have yet to find a good way to run the headphone cable on the ATPro/Gold and the coil cable on the Infinium so as to keep from hitting it with my hand. The Infinium is hung under my elbow. I see you have the same loop. You are correct about Taking care of the machine and it will reward you appropriately.

These are color fleece bought from the local fabric store. It's drys up quick that's why I use it. Also here in the flat land of California, it gets hot in the summer and the elbow rest gets uncomfortable with out the padding. I'm going to upgrade to water resisting leather next.
I thought about running the headphone wire inside the shaft but sometimes I take it off and it would not be a convenient.

Very cool! :clapping:
Good idea on the headphone cable...I never take mine off, so thats a good idea for me!
I got rid of the Camlocks on the shaft and its easier to change batteries and adjust the lower length too...no wiggle or wobble that I can tell..
Mud

Very nice, asiandigger! and, if the time should come when you want to upgrade to a new Garrett Ultra Mega Gold Muncher machine, you'll get top dollar! :super:

Nice modification. I know when there are some strong wind and short waves at the river, I do sometimes have falsing. I tried tying my cable to the shaft with some electricians tape but it falsed worse than wrapping it around.

check out my latest upgrade on this Forum ...Fashion Garrett AT Pro. My hunting buddy Waterdog said he notice he doesn't have falsing with his after I upgrade it with leather. I don't know because I never had any falsing issues well I guess because I had never hunted rivers before... I will try it this summer here in California. Thanks guys
