I got a early start this morning to beat the heat. I went back to a old site that I have detected before to see if I could find some more good stuff. The settings on the AT Pro with the 5 x 8 inch coil was Pro Zero with the sensitivity set at one bar down from its highest setting and there was still some chatter from EMI. There was so much iron in the ground, it sounded like a Gatling Gun going off. I was just digging the high tones today. Both nickels gave a high tone. Go figure. Some of the wheat pennies were bouncing from the high tone to the mid-tone. At any rate, if I heard any part of a high tone in all that trash and iron, I was digging. I only hunted around 3 hours because of the heat and my knee was acting up, but I did managed to find a bunch of wheat pennies (1952, 19??, 1937, 1941, 1937, 1942, 1941, 1919, 1921, 1941, 1932, 1934) , a 1935 Buffalo Nickel, a 1943 War Nickel, a 1938 Half Penny, a 1959 Half Penny, 1962 Canadian Quarter, a 1977 Netherlander Coin, a Sterling Earring, and bunch of clad. I didn't get to take any pictures at the site because I forgot to put my camera back in the car after my fishing trip. There sure were a lot of foreign coins for this neck of woods.
