Not only is the AT Pro an excellent land hunter, it should perform well in salt water as well as freshwater. I have accumulated most of my gold finds at or in fresh water bodies of water. The unique audio sounds of the AT Pro should be a real asset for pulling some decent finds from nearby lakes. Here are a couple of AT Pro videos to go over some fresh water detecting techniques.

Good Vids but in vid 2 they spend way to much time digging bring it to shore pinpoint and then go back out. It's time wasted when they could be detecting more.

Baloney too many cuts in video looks like planned video settings look at the guy using a garrett pinpointer on that ring if I found a ring and had it in my hands I would not be using the pro pointer any thing that looks like a ring goes in my pocket lousy choreographing and staging
