AT Pro Fresh Water Hunting? You Bet!:video:

Not only is the AT Pro an excellent land hunter, it should perform well in salt water as well as freshwater. I have accumulated most of my gold finds at or in fresh water bodies of water. The unique audio sounds of the AT Pro should be a real asset for pulling some decent finds from nearby lakes. Here are a couple of AT Pro videos to go over some fresh water detecting techniques.

Thanks..Seems funny Garrett would not have included water proof headphones connection on a wader possible machine.

The connection on the standard 'phoes IS waterproof, just not the 'phones themselves unless you get the optional waterproof ones. I had a set of waterproof Grey Ghost 'phones built for mine, and I love'em!!

Ditto on BCD's post below. If you don't get out to raging wild seas, you may not even have to get water headphones. Or, wrap a couple of plastic baggies over each muff just in case that one rogue wave hits you.

A lot of detectors for sale don't even come with headphones. Garrett does supply a good working pair with individual volume controls and curly cord. You still have the option of getting another pair of headphones too. And, you can run the AT Pro with no headphones too.

I'm just going to trade someone for a good T2 and forget the water LOL hahahahha

The At pro is a very nice detector with plenty of depth and features anyone who detects would love. The Iron audi is superb..the roll tones is exceptional..
I anticipate many many good deep finds with this machine. I added Khouse Gizmo yesterday and wow what a difference that made to my 6'3" frame using the At pro. It feels like a different machine.
