This is my 4th winter hunting down here. (2-3 months a season) What I've experanced is you got to work hard & smart for results. Some luck helps of course. There's no one swimming or laying out very much. So everyones hunting what's left from last season. Winds change the beachs every day. So you do get eyeball finds from time to time. Some finds are just one scoop down. There are still some pockets of finds here and there but. For the most part vast stretches of nothing. You must wear headphones and listen for the feint signal. I'll. Catch my Pro telling me deep. Many finds down 8-12 inches or yes even lil more. The Pro will lose depth some on wet salt sand and in water. On the dry it is impressive. Oh I have snagged a nice gold ring but it's. a very good day to break 2bucks in 3 hrs. I got a lot of time.
