AT Pro Finds Me Old Copper Culture Spearpoint!

Fella

New member
Yesterday was cold and rainy but that didn't stop me from taking my mother out detecting.

The site I took her to is always good for finding some old coins and neat relics turns up from time to time too.

We were staying in a wooded area near and old school to try and keep the cold rain to a minimum.

We hadn't been there long and we both had a couple of Memorials and some other junk when I came across this little number. It rang up in the high 80's on the Pro and I was thinking Silver quarter or half.

Much to my delight something much much older and way cooler!

Probably Dates to 3000-1000BC

Thanks for looking!

Congrats on the nice oldie find.

That is way cooler. Thanks for posting fella. I am a bit jealous.

Thanks everybody!

I just procured the right to hunt a 60 acre plot anytime I want around the Superior area in the heart of the Old Copper Complex. Furthermore, there is an old foundation of a school and a farm house on the same property. Owners say they stopped being used in the 30's!

I think I just found my summers (and more) hunting grounds.

That's some historical find. Yeah, that should be mounted.

That's a mighty sweet find! Are you in AZ? I lived in the Roosevelt / Globe area for a while.
