AT PRO finds from the last 3 days

I found a new spot to hunt, and found the two rings pictured here at that location. I just wanted to upload all of the finds that I have found at this location grouped together.

The best thing-none of these targets were below 8" deep, and most of them were around 3" or less in depth.

$4.19 in clad, an old pocket knife and a whole lot of others! I decided I will start a collection of old bottle caps and older style pulltabs. You never know, they may actually be worth a whole lot to people who like to collect those sorts of things someday...

HH to everyone.

Nice. are the rings gold?

The one on the left was made in Taiwan, so I don't think it's worth much. The one on the right is engraved 14k on one side of the ring .53 on the other side. I haven't had the one on the right appraised yet, because I just found it today. I think it's probably worth enough to just about pay off my AT PRO. It's think it might bemy best find so far.

For the first time owning a metal detector, I think the AT PRO is doing a GREAT job!

Congratulations, Marc! As you say, the 14 K Diamond ring will likely pay for your machine, not bad for 3 days!!

Oh yeah I'm definately hooked for life! The silver earring had a TID between 46-53. I learned something digging that one-if the TID bounces around, it doesn't ALWAYS mean it's a trash target. What I've learned is that targets that bounce around have an odd shape to them, versus a coin or solid metal object. As it's been posted here before, dig ALL the targets because you never know what you're gonna get.

The old knife in the picture had a TID of solid 90. The pendant that looks like gold is pewter on the inside (just gold plated). It had a TID of 45-46. The gold plated watch clasp was a TID of 45-47.

I was using the 8.5x11 DD for about half of the targets, and the 9x12 concentric for the other half. When it got close to getting dark out each day this weekend, I was starting to get EMI with the large concentric coil so I had to switch to the smaller coil.

I really appreciate all the advice offered in people's threads here. Especially the posts about GB high/low to get deeper on targets for low/high conductivity.

I also found what looks to be a silver plated brooch with fake gems in it and a token which says "Heads I Win" on one side, and "Tails You Lose" on the other. Those will be posted in the future, after I dig some more out of this location!
