Attended a seeded hunt in Lisbon N D last weekend
weather cooperated sort of.
Here are some photos from the weekend.

[attachment 199207 Lisbon ND2011021.jpg] This was a chance to meet McDave who also is a member of this group. As a newbie, it was his first time at this seeded hunt and for a beginner, he did very well. Congrats to Dave.

[attachment 199208 Lisbon ND2011029.jpg] I was concentrating on finding the coin.

[attachment 199209 Lisbon ND2011023.jpg] Looking for my next target.

[attachment 199210 Lisbon ND2011002.jpg] This is a picture of the 3 of us who participated in the 'Three Stooges Hunt'. A 'Three Stooges Hunt' is one person handles the detector, another has the earphones, and the 3rd person does the digging. We ended up very well with that one finding about $16.00 each in U.S. $1 coins.

[attachment 199211 Lisbon ND2011030.jpg] The total results of the weekend: 23 American dollar coins, 5 Indian head pennies, 12 Buffalo nickels, 16 half dollar Kennedys, 24 silver dimes (of these, 12 were Rosies and 12 were Mercs), 1 silver quarter, and a $12 cache. I think my finds were average or slightly above average for the group.

Joel:

You did well old friend....I liked that three guy team you explained..

That is really cool Joel. Not just the finds, but meeting and spending some time with a person you know ONLY from a metal detecting forum. Looks like you guys had a great time, And by the way, I really like that "3 stooges" hunt. Whoever thought that one up deserves a medal.:clapping:

Sounds like a good time was had by all. I bet the 3 stooges hunt was a blast. Joel you should be glad I wasn't there because sometimes it takes me a few minutes to get down on 1 knee just to get ready to dig. Than one of you guys would have to give me a hand to get back up. Nice going guys.... HH....Z
