AT Pro - Estimated ship date

While I was on the phone with KellyCo I asked about an estimated ship date and they said they expect to receive the AT Pro at the very end of November and hope to ship at the end of the first week of Dec.

Salesrep said not to expect in on your doorsteps until mid December.

I think it depends on your dealer.

I was told by my dealer that they were working weekends
just so they can ship as promised.

Just keep in mind that there are two versions....the AT Pro & The AT Pro International. One is in inches, and one is in centimeters. I'm not sure if they are slightly tweaked a bit different to compensate for coinage? They are probably going to be quite busy.

I didn't know the International was in centimeters, but the units are different.

On the International unit they opened up the VID in the middle area as many coins here in Europe hit there, while in America .10 and .25 are up at the end of the spectrum. I often dig coins that are 57 - 61 (literally 70% +) so having more range means more preciseness which is a good selling point for the unit in Europe.

Mid-December? Really?

That's a drag.

Do they realize this is America? We gotta have it NOW!!!:nopity:

Oh well. At least the ground will be softer from all the rain (out west).

:usaflag:Does'nt matter to me. The ground will be frozen solid by then...

Not a problem as long as they get it right the first go around with quality control.

hmmm...sounds like us gold/jewelry hunters would be better served with the International unit. On the US model they opened up the Iron Range. I guess that is something they did for the Relic Hunters. I would definitely prefer the opened up mid-range where most of the gold jewelry falls! I wonder if we can order an International unit here in the States?

You got it right McDave. By the middle of December we'll have 10 inches of frost in the ground. In fact, every time I get out I think that this may well be the last time this year. So far so good, but soon...

OK - it's been November for over 8 hours here on the left coast, even longer in some areas but not this area because this is this area and not that area.

So, they're on their way, right?

New estimated ship date "mid-November", per a major supplier.

Somebody asked Garrett directly and they said they would ship out to the distributors this week but they wouldn't specify which day.
