Roughly 2 weeks ago I posted that I found my Oldest Indian head (1865), a Ladies Victorian buckle
and a Gold cuff link w/stone. Well a lot of the dirt got sent back to our shop yard and will be used
as fill dirt. I am able to work the big pile but will eventually be leveled out. Well I went to the pile today
for an hour and low and behold I got another Indian head penny. I was amazed at the date as it read (1866).
I was thrilled. Found some relics and tons of Iron but slowly weeding it out. Trying to work the pile before
it gets spread out which might work in my favor. Anyway all I can say is I've been detecting 15 years
and have used many machines but I am really loving the AT Pro and just picked me up the AT Gold.
One thing this machine is telling me is that it is very capable of finding the goods in all different sizes
and seems hot in the gold range. I still use my machine from France but I am growing to like this
Garrett Series of detectors. It also works good in the Iron for me. Now I just need to score some
Silver in this date range. Soon to happen I hope. Here's how I've been running the AT Pro:
Pro mode zero,Iron Audio Disc. 24, Use the Iron Audio as needed,Sensitivity at the 5th bar up
and lower if to noisy for conditions. My grounds at about 84 when balancing and re-check now and then. (5x8 coil)
I only have 9 hours on this unit but it has brought me some really good finds in a short time at 2
different hunt sites and I know 1 has been hit hard but the AT scored heavy in a short time just
like my machine from France. Thanks for listening to me ramble...
