AT Pro detector stand

Like others, I'm not too thrilled with the original equipment stand on AT Pro, so looked around the house for a cheap and easy remedy. Found one! I used what are called binder clips[look up office supplies]. There's a large and a small size. I clip a smallsize on each wing of the stand, and use the large clips' springs?[the things you squeeze together], and insert one on each outer clip. The bigger one becomes the stand extension, and it works super well, especially if you secure them with duct tape, or whatever works for you. I'm sure there are further mods, but this is what I've used to date. Haven't had the detector roll over yet. One question: anyone experience chatter in tall wet grass, as you swipe the coil back and forth? It disappeared after I got into shorter, drier grass. I've been using the 6.5x9 inch coil. Later!
