AT PRO DESCRIMINATION QUESTION

On my ATP I am noticing that when I hunt in no discrimination, I don't get as deep as when I hunt in Pro Custom. I don't know why?! I did a bench test with my buddies Tesoro Deleon in all metal and my ATP in no descrim and they were both exactly 8 inches on a quarter. When I say that I mean when both detectors registered a tone. Not when the number appeared on the target i.d. When hunting, I find that I get more depth in Pro mode. I have no idea why. Can someone tell me why?

I presume you are referring to the Standard Mode vs. Pro Mode. The Pro Mode is deeper then the Standard Mode. The Standard Mode is similar to the ACE Series, the Pro Mode is a much more advanced circuitry. The Standard Mode is the mode a beginner might want to learn first, then switch over to the Pro Mode to learn the tones.
