AT Pro depth

Are you AT P guys happy with its depth ?
Considering replacing my Omega with AT P.
Thanks for your input.

With the proper coil for your location and it set up properly, it will talk to you nicely about some deep targets. All you have to do is decide to dig them.

Not as deep as my Tejon, but enough that I don't want to dig deeper. I am quite satisfied with the ATP's depth.

It shall go deep...and much more importantly, recover at lightning speed!

Very happy with my AT Pro in depth and different conditions for my area (Pacific Coast).

And as mentioned, great recovery speed as well.

:)

I just sold my Omega last week and bought the at pro, not sure its any deeper than the Omega but it seems to hit coins alot better in iron and its not all chatty like Omega was.

Pitcher.

I was out early colonial site field hunting this spring and witnessed my friend dig out a 1" small brass buckle at easily 18" plus. He had me confirm his signal with my E-Trac and I watched him dig, and dig, and dig with his small Lesche knife. My arm was about to fall off at the end of the day swinging that heavy E-Trac. I have since purchased a AT Pro...LOL

Not everyone everywhere would have hit that 18" buckle with either detector.

That's a for sure!!

The AT Pro will find good targets. It is very good at recovery speed and one of the best detectors for hunting in iron that I have used. But in my dirt and more recently in the dry sand of NJ I didn't get enough depth out of mine. Simple as that. It has new home now and I wish the new owner great success.

I'm satisfied with the depth, especially in the water. It reaches way down for those coins and rings. I don't do as well on land due to physical disabilities when the ground is hard. When it's wet, I do better. I do choose not to dig some deep targets on land if I don't think it's worth digging and I may miss some good targets, but it's so much easier to use the scoop in the water.
