AT PRO defective headphones?? Please advise!

:ranting:

What do you know...my AT PRO came today...I was like a kid on Christmas...

Until my headphones don't seem to work.

Any other AT PRO users out there with any advice?? I HATE that Garrett made it a proprietary plug first off...my 1350 lets me plug in ANY headphones I have.

But I have the supplied headphones plugged in ALL THE WAY IN...nice and tight...screwed on...

And when I fire up the AT PRO...the sounds are so loud and obviously NOT coming out of the headphones...Any ideas?

Thanks for any help!

Cheers,

Spencer

Also...sorry...is there no volume control on the AT PRO?? People can hear this thing a mile away. HAHA. Sorry if I am making dumb mistakes, but I really think these cans are defective. : (

Cheers,

Spencer

There is a volume control...its on your non working headphones. :rage: Hope ya get em working.

YEAH and I have to set mine at min. volume control not blast my ears out!.You didn't break the pin did you?

Make sure you got the pins lined up and pushed all the way in. If every thing is in and making good contact then sounds like you have bad headphones.

Let us know how it turns out.

If the speaker on the machine is working with the headphones connected then it's - 1. plug not fully engaged. 2. connector pin is bent. 3. Open connection within the headphone connectors or phones. You might try flipping the mono/stereo switch back and fourth?

As I found a lot of difficulty lining everything up correctly in my head phone plug, I wouldn't be surprise if you haven't bent the plug wire? Onus
