AT Pro comparison to the Standard T-2

What machine is a deeper, for finding coins, and and better for beach hunting? I no At Pro is a land and water detector.

All you are going to get regarding that question is differing opinions.I doubt that there is much difference depth wise between the two,but the AT pro would certainly be a better beach hunter, the T2 is useless on wet salt sand.If you are looking for a machine that is good both on land and on the beach the At pro would be the better choice.
If you want a machine that is very deep on coins and awesome on the beach try something like a sovereign or another of minelabs multi frequency models.........no single frequency machine can beat these on the wet salt sand. You really have to decide where most of your hunting will take place and make your decision based on this.

AT Pro is NOT a beach machine at best it can be used dry sand. It is a single frequency machine therefor you get it near the wet sand and it will chatter away. If you want an all purpose machine Beach or land you cant go wrong with the CTX 3030. If you want a strict beach machine Excal,CZ-21,or CTX 3030 IMO. if you want just a land coin unit I hear good things about the CZ's by Fisher. GL and research.

I disagree. I have an AT pro, and took it to the NC coast this summer. I ran over the wet sand all week, and found bunches of targets. The AT balanced at 13 over the water, and didn't chatter a bit, unless you scrubbed the coil on the sand. The E-trac I brought did the same thing. If you touched the wet sand it would false, but if you swing a half an inch above it does fine. I ran the AT one bar shy of full sensitivity. The only time I had chatter was when I was actually in the surf, and it wasn't that bad. I've seen tons of vids showing the same. Salt water was taken into consideration when the AT Pro released for sale. There are Garrett videos on the wet sand. I'm sure there are better options out there for maximum wet sand performance, but if you have an AT Pro, and vacation at the beach, you will be just fine. Just my two cents worth.
