Does the coil that comes with an at pro detect the same as a sef coil straight down or like a regular coil in a cone? thank you
 
[size=large]the SEF has more to do with it's shape. it's still a DD coil. so is the standard coil for the ATP. a good example was posted on the whites forum where the old 6x10 DD coil was compared to a 8x6 SEF coil. the depth is considered the same. the shape of the coil is what made it fare better against the whites coil. it's still the wiperblade type instead of cone. so is the standard ATP coil.
