Headed out after work for a couple of hours to a couple of spots which have given up a little. And go figure, they did give up a little again.......

Here's my favorite find tonite. A soccer medallion, with the letterrs "CNRA" 1931 stamped on the back of it. I believe it stands for "CALIFORNIA NATIONAL REFEREE ASSOCIATION" although I can't really confirm it.

Below are the best from tonite. :)

Thats a cool medallion. I remember when U got the check for all that gold a few months back. I bet u could buy yourself a new truck with all the silver youve found. But your probly happy driving some older vehicle. I bet if Santa Clause asked u what do u want for Christmas little John, U would say "new batteries for my detector and maybe some bullets for my rifle, thats all"

Yes I am....I keep threatening to switch back to the stock "DD" coil, but I really like the larger coil, especially for coin and ring hunting.

John i have all four coils but have not tried my big one yet. Seeing you are having great success with yours i will give it a try on my next ballfield or soccer field. It looks like you are finding rings with no problem. Love all your posts!

It covers a large area more quickly, simply due to it's larger size then the "DD"stock coil and for targets in the top 3-4 inches, I prefer to pinpoint off the inner toe of the coil. I find it much faster, and using the white dot on the inner coil is almost like using a pin-pointer in itself.

For more information on that white dot, click below:

Could be something like the Canadian National Rugby Association???

Just a guess.....

nice find

Keith

That thought crossed my mind too. But the ball in the medallion is round, unlike a football shaped one in rugby, and it was found in an old soccer field. Of course, it could be any of these too

** CNRA Conseil National des Radios Associatives (Spanish)
** CNRA California North Referee Administration
** CNRA Committee on Nuclear Regulatory Activities

John with the finds that you are getting and as a matter of fact with the finds all are making here on this forum it is proving that the AT Pro is one heck of a good all around detector. Thanks for fine posts. HH.....Z

Thanks.....when set up properly, and used by someone who has put some time on it, it is a wonderfully designed piece of electronic equipment.
