tracked down my at pro today, as it arrived in england by usps it disappeared for a week . found it by loads of phone calls to different delivery companies. cant wait to get out with it but its raining today-- tyipical!! not the machine that minds getting wet --its me!! putting the machine together the rubber o ring on the coil connector got nipped in the socket, oh well ill have to use one off the spare headphones till i get a few spares!

Sounds like you went through an ordeal just getting it. We are spoiled here in the states where things take just a few days. Now that you have your At Pro I hope you enjoy using it.

Jerry

p.s. It's waterproof so dont worry about the rain :)

Congrats on the new toy! Please let us know how it does for you, and what settings you like! I have one that is supposed to be be delivered today! :clapping:

worthy what kind of hunting do you do over there? It would be interesting to see how the AT Pro does field hunting for ancient coins/artifacts.

cal, the at pro is mainly for taking to the beach and in the water in spain. but it will be interesting to see how it performs in the feilds in england. been doing the feilds round here since the seventies and am running out of sites to go to,my other detectors didnt really go that deep - so will be interesting to revisit some old sitesto see if there is anything deeper --you never know. will try this afternoon if the rain holds off! in the eighties we had a detector boom--lots of people were just going into any old feild with a shovel on pasture land making a real mess so its a bit difficult to get permission in some of the best spots---they dont forget!
