AT Pro also finds Indian Arrowheads

A few weeks ago a friend of mine and I were detecting a park near my home. A lady walking her dog saw us detecting and came over and showed an interest in our hobby. After chatting for awhile she said that she owns a 200 year old home right down the road from the park and invited us to metal detect her property. We followed her home and found this beautiful old Federal style home with a springhouse out front and ramp to where the old barn used to be. She also told us that the vacant home next door was used during the underground railroad and she would also get us permission to hunt that property as well. I thought we had died and gone to metal detecting heaven. I called the next day and asked if it would be ok to stop by and take some photo's of the property and do some testing with the detector. She said that was ok but she would not be home. I arrived and took out my AT Pro and just off the parking area I got some good hits and some iron mixed in. I started digging down about 10 inches and started pulling out some old cut nails and to my amazement a white quartz arrowhead. I said to myself thats pretty nice I wasn't even looking for arrowheads and my AT Pro helped me find one. Here is a photo of the place and the arrowhead.

Been back to hunt three times now and have found wheat pennies, old toys, other pieces of iron, thin lead sheet about 4" wide folded over about four times. My other friends have found a Mercury Dime, the leg to an old stove and I found a small silver locket around the size of a nickel, the outer rim of an old pocket watch, the front plate of an old padlock with "Crescent 6 Lever" on the front. I also found a few old flat buttons. Can't wait to go back again.
