AT Pro 4.5 Super Sniper coil?

Southwind

Well-known member
Is the 4.5 Super Sniper coil concentric or DD? I see it looks concentric, but just because it is round doesn't mean it's not a DD. Also, and more important, is it available? Are they in stock at say KellyCo?

I'm looking for a good sniper coil for my AT Pro, but I don't really care for the concentric.

Think it is concentric. When you get that small don't think it really matters a lot though.. As far as I know there are none available yet. I have had one ordered for ever it seems like.

Thanks Jason,

For me I really like the 4x6 DD Shooter on my DFX for high trash and near tot lot equipment. With the concentric you much overlap so much just to make sure you don't miss something it can be really slow. A DD will cover more ground quicker and I like the way you can sweep them to get very close to metal polls.

I'd say it's concentric but like all of Garrett's snipers it will be one hot little coil with amazing depth. The sniper for the 250 will hit seven inches and pinpoints like a dream.

A concentric 4.5 coil is more sensitive than a 4.5 DD. Since it is so small the ground minerals dont effect it too much for the negative.

Good point Southwind...
