at pro 4.5 in sniper coil

Hello, is anyone currently using the 4.5 inch super sniper coil for the AT pro on the totlots. I was just curious about how this coil might perform compared to the smaller DD coil for the at pro. As it stands right now I love the DD coils but if the super sniper is as good as I'm hearing then I'm sold.

That little 5 x 8 DD is :hot:hot:hot:, but it can't get as close to the metal poles and chain link fence like the super sniper can. If you're a serious tot-lot-er I would think the 4.5 would be a must have tool:thumbup:

Buy em all!!! Let conditions sort em out...lol...
The 4.5 can get under and up against stuff the larger coils cannot touch...it should be in any tot lotters arsenal...

HH,

I resorted to all three coils. The super sniper is great in totlots, it will get closer to the metal poles and under stuff better then the DD coils. It has less depth but then you don't need it there and it's still pretty good.

Each of the coils has their place for sure.

That lil' sniper coil is hot on the tot lots! You'll be findin' the good stuff that other detectorists have missed because their machines can't search right up next to the metal poles and such like that Garrett super sniper can. You can also search right up next to chain link fences and up underneath metal bleachers where other search coils fail. Don't get me wrong, that 5"x8" DD is and awesome search coil and I agree with others about getting all the search coils that you can for different situations. However, if you need to choose one for the tot lots, definitely get that sniper. That AT Pro is hot on gold and that sniper can find some tiny bits. You'll be diggin' up all kinds of trash and tiny bits of foil and such. If you don't dig the trash, you won't find the gold!
Best of luck to ya!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

thanks for all the replies I just ordered the sniper coil for my AT pro. gotta dig the trash to get the cash
