AT MAX wireless question...

I’ve been searching the Garrett site and around the Internet, and can’t seem to find an answer to this question...

Can standard Bluetooth ear buds be used with the AT MAX Z-Link wireless system? In hot weather, I use my Motorola S10 Bluetooth unit with the buds in my ear with my Bounty Hunter LRP and aftermarket Bluetooth transmitter. The conventional earphones are bulky and hot to wear over the ears, but will be fine when the weather cools off. I’d like to have this option available, especially when I head to Florida for a few weeks in February. Not crazy about detecting beaches in the heat with over the ear headphones.

Thanks!

I don't think so.

I picked up a lightly used AT Max today from a private seller, and I’m pleased as pie with it. Tried to pair my motarola S10 Bluetooth with it, but they wouldn’t pair. Wasn’t a deal breaker, but wished it would have worked. Now for the learning curve to begin. Glad Garrett has instructional videos to make it a bit easier.
