Don't know about that but I do know that a lot of guys who paid first to get on the list for the first ones out have canceled their order due to the long wait that it's been one of those guys just bought my At gold

No Disrespect John meant here !Cause I so enjoy your post and testing reports but I hope so too ,but it would be nice if Garrett would at least step up and give an actual update from a spokesman and not just from a Tester of the AT Max . JMHO I really like the AT Series . AS for myself I just cant stand it anymore like the post states the anticipation is killing me

I hope Garrett at least keep their promise of having them shipped out this month. I know they made adjustments / changes to the machine thus the delay. However if this means "perfection" to where there are no issues, then (to me) it's worth the wait. As my momma told me as a lad, "son, good things come to those who wait" Not only did I pay for this machine several months back but I also purchased additional coils as well. Like Christmas morning, once we get the product in our hands we will forget all about the wait.....anticipation.....

You guys remember the early stages of the AT pro when the coil was falsing...... I caught a lot of flak from this forum for bringing the problem to Garretts attention ... it turned out to be a known issue in the end ...... i'd rather wait and let Garrett have everything straightened out on the AT Max before they send it out ....

Nope seems Garrett made an announcement want be shipping til after Labor Day

Nope not out yet some said Mid August well Like others have stated sometimes good things come to he who waits , I have decided to wait til after Labor day if not released I guess I will just move on and go with my Backup plan on the Deus

Minelab has a new machine coming out Mid September from what I understand

Well something must not be going too smooth with Max'improvements. When the Pro first came out, the first ones shipped were called back, or most of them. That had to be a major expense. Pretty sure this has happened on models from other companies.
A company isn't going to sit on a product that's ready to go, unless there's a good reason. So when they unleash the Max, it should be in tip-top shape. Hopefully.
