major nor-easter here pass thru over the last 4 days. All things considered we faired pretty well. I didn't lost my driveway even though
we had just over 4 inches of rain and while some tree's went down, we never lost power. The wood will keep me warm next winter as I start chain sawing it up this week. All my drains I added to the driveway seemed to have gotten it off the hills on our driveway that it didn't wash all the processed gravel away. I also cut all the edges off so it could drain off the sides also. Looks like the major part of winter is finished here. March is a crap shoot here....We all hope for "In like a Lion , out like a lamb, but so far its pretty much lamb season.... I'll take it.... Got to scrape down the paddocks for the horses, and lime them replace some clay/silt footing in the stalls and put the matts back in and looks like we are good to go. No flowers up yet, but they will be soon. We had snow here last night, but none of it stuck and are now looking at almost 60 the rest of the week in daytime....

I will get out today and see if I can get some pictures of the tube lines for the maple sap.

you looked. I was amazed at all the water...never knew you folks got that type of weather so late in the season. Glad to hear that you folks survived with minimum damage. Kelley (Texas) :)
