AT LAST! proper headphones

I don't get it, do you attach your Deus headphones to those big ones?
That's not the same headphone Xp had shown last summer which had everything internal and they were supposed to be around $400

Thanks

It appears you seperate the Deus backphone control unit from your backphones and connect it to these headphones. If they are anything like the reviews I hear of other MSA phones they should be good.

I have used the CP3 Chefphones for the E-Trac and they are great phones, especially if you like to block out noise and hear the lower conductors better. If you are looking for headphones that hit the higher tones better (at least on the E-Trac) the Chefphones didn't do it for me, I went back to Gray Ghost headphones. Again, the Chef phones are great, but I think most of what I have seen that was designed in the UK seem to hit the lower conductors better. Would like to hear some comparisons regarding the tones...

I tried emailing them from their website about what is involved in in hooking them up for the Deus but get an unsendable message.

I would rather wait till XP bring out their own proper Deus headphones, If you look closely at these type they are
very bulky looking and I doubt you would even get a cap on your head which defeats the purpose of trying to
keep warm in cold days. I also had a pair of Chefphones for my T2 and didn't get on with them as the tones
didn't sound right at all, they are basically workman ear defenders converted to take headphones, so basically
a DIY job.

As are most of the headphones you can buy (ear defenders) why did you bother to post ''at last proper headphones'' and then dismiss them as ''diy'' later ?

Just be a little patient guys and the WS5`s will be available.

Iam sure that they will be the dogs danglies but a little expensive.

I have a pair of modified Peltors and they work just fine, but XP will give us a professional set with everything tucked in out of the weather. Jerry.
