At Last, my first Tesoro:clapping:

I have been waiting 14 years for my Tesoro. Finely I received my Outlaw kindly sent to me by a dealer in the US. It is very difficult to get Machines like the Tesoro sent to Australia. Even the Mine labs in the US are not allowed to be sold to People in Aus. You guys get them $1000 bucks cheaper and this makes my blood boil. Never mind, I have my Tesoro and I am happy.
The politicians can stick that in their pipe and smoke it.

Nice choice on a detector, the Outlaw should treat you well and a great package with all of those coils, enjoy!

The Outlaw is a very good choice. Just make sure you raise the coil a few feet off the ground and push the pinpoint button all the in to re-tune after pinpointing and turning the unit on if you are going to be detecting in the discriminate mode, because the discriminate mode could be de-tuned and you won't get good depth.

Do you have to tune in the all metal mode before changing to the didcrimination mode tabman?
Any advice is most welcome and appreciated.

When you push the red button all the way in..............you're in the 'all metal auto tune mode'. You can either flip to the all metal mode and back to the discrimination mode or just push the red button to re-tune while the coil is a few feet off the ground.

Not really. I very seldom use the pinpoint. Even if I used the pinpoint feature every time, it doesn't take much time to push a button.

I can assure you that the Outlaw is worth it, because it's one of the best Tesoro detectors that I've ever used.

I'm getting ready to thin the herd some now that I have the Outlaw.

Thanks Tabman,
Much appreciated. An ounce of gold from here and there will make you a wealthy man I recon.

Cheers.....Charlie.

listin, its going to hit on gold nuggets, hopfully your ground is not to mineralized, but the all metal kicks but I really like the all metal modes and the 7" DD for minerals. even that 10x12 is good , if ground is mild the 8" is a puper coil , now be patient with it . get to know it I would have no problem using it in badd ground i would just use the threshold or the no mo. plus its light pleas let us know how you do with it Gunnar

Thanks to you all. So far have picked up 42 pre decimal coins which includes 44 grams of silver and this is going through the trashiest sites known to man.
Great machine.
