At last a nice day to MD

Finally had some good weather here. Went out for a few hours this morning, but now its getting to hot and muggy.
Came out with alittle over $3.00 in change. Nothing to brag or post a picture about.
As you know if you watch National News, Indiana got slammed really bad the last few days. Lots of people in shelters because of the flooding and the twisters.
The worst in my area was just a lot of Thunder Boomers and lots of rain. Lights went a out a couple of times but that was it.

I went to a high school that was nine miles away and got kicked off the green part. An atheletic instructor along with a yards worker
asked me not to detect there. Ok to dig the gravel parking area but not their lawn.No argument from me. It doesn't work anyway.:super:

Glad you lucked out. One thing I don't miss about the Midwest - the lousy weather. They have been getting more than their share this year.

Yes, I understand the last one was in 1913.
But I suspect that there is more to it than just cycles.....I do believe the changeing weather patterens
around the globe is involved this time. We, or should I say big business, really screwed up our atmosphere with the push to make money.

I live in Indiana for right now. Looking at Alaska really strongly.
Thinking about the coastal regions. Thats in a couple years though.

Glad to hear you finally got out. Your weather is like ours here in Iowa. We had a 100 year flood in '93, but guess what? Our local Corp of Engineers flood control lake reached a record level that year. This morning's news said that we are just 2 feet from that record again. No rain fore casted for today but lots for the rest of the week. I've only made it out a couple of times so far. Seems like we went from snow/cold right to soggy/rainy. If this keeps up I'm either moving or selling my MD's and picking up a new hobby like underwater basket weaving!

Hunting for wet clad ? Good haul.:clapping:

If I would have read a little closer I would have seen you lived in Indiana. When I seen MD my mind said Maryland when MD didn't mean that at all (Metal Detecting). Sorry about the mix up.Any way do you relic hunt also?
