AT GOLD VS ATX

If somebody would just hurry up and send me one, I'd be happy to test it!!! :tongue:
Seriously, I saw some test results and video links over in the ATX forum. John-Edmonton has both, so maybe he'll chime in (the lucky dog). It sounds like the ATX is considerably deeper, as you'd expect...
 
He had previously asked the same question on a private email. Here's the response I gave....

"Both the ATX (PI) and AT Gold (VLF) are very different. The ATX will get incredible depth in salt and high mineralized soils where the AT Gold will really struggle. Both detectors will pick up small nuggets and larger ones. I have no videos. You should ask the same question on the ATX Forum."
