AT Gold vs. AT Max

I would like to pose a question that will help me decide what to do.
It you were going to AZ to detect for nuggets would you take the gold or the max if you had the option of having both but only could take one. Basically can the Max do a well as the Gold for finding gold?

Isn't the Gold a little higher kz? If so, that would be the better, I would think. HH jim tn

It is higher freq. Was wondering if the Max would be as effective with it's abilities

I would take the MAX....simply because it has a much more deeper true all metal mode.

Thanks John, I needed reassurance that trading in the AT Gold to buy the Max was not a mistake now that I have an opportunity to go west nugget hunting. I like the Max here in Michigan

The gold has a true all metal staying with mine wireless would be nice however,,,,,CEDAR

I had them all. Don't remember much about the Gold but I do love my Max. First machine I go to.
