AT Gold sensitivity on my grand daughters foot!

Hi all
Scenario is! my grand daughter stood on a steel garden rake a week ago, two prongs through her foot. :-( been to hospital, bandaged and all that, no tetanus needle as they said she is up to date with all that. Saw her today after work and the puncture wounds have healed up fine but the top of her foot is swollen up bad right above one of the puncture marks.
I decided to try the ATG on her foot to see what might happen.
Ground balanced and stuff just in the backyard and I was getting a noise from the AT! Not enough to register but there was a definite sound!

Tried her other foot and nothing! I am suspecting there is still part of that rake, piece of rust maybe still stuck in her foot. As a concerned poppy! Does this sound a bit over the top or could i be right?

Get her to the doctor and have her foot X-ray ed..
Look at the rake and see if part of it is missing..
Could be some rust from the rake..
This may be the start of a infection.
Something is not right....

I was using a hammer and chisel one time,,,part of the iron chisel broke off,
and went into my finger,,,first doctor said, it will work its self out,, it never did,
saw another doctor, took my pip pointer,, it sounded off,he x-ray ed and saw it,
and cut it out...

The AT Gold will pick up salt on your skin. I suggest her swollen foot has more sweat on it, more salt.

[size=large]use the pro pointer on her foot. if it sounds off then off to the Dr. for sure. i'd say it would sound of on something that small if it's iron. if it's swollen still i'd get to the Dr. anyway. not worth the risk for her not to.

AT Gold Specialists? Sounds like a new field of medicine. Call the doctor. She should be on antibiotics. I have picked up very small pieces of metal with the ATP the Pin pointer could not.

I beieve my grand daughter has already had the antibiotics and she saw the doc again yesterday. They are all coming over for Easter lunch so will find out more then.

Happy Easter All.:beers:

The doctor most likely cleaned out the wound. I stepped on a clean nail and my doctor cleaned it out with a copper wire. Looked like he was trying the ream it out and make it bigger. The length of the rod magnified the volume of him moving it in my foot. Sounded freaky, hearing it moving in my foot.
