Nice! I'm getting a Gold pretty soon, too!
Hope it serves you well.
I'm sure the AT Gold will serve me well.
I plan on using the AT Gold on Land and the Fresh Water Lakes.
and plan to get the ATP for the Fresh Water Lakes and land.
I watched those videos a zillion times on the website and
was really impressed with both machines.
Almost seems that you having more than one detector
is a good thing!
I thought I would never sell my Compade but I think I'll do
that so I can get the Sniper Coil for the AT !

Awesome, I love my AT Gold. November 2011. I would use it everyday, but my damn job gets in the way. I have become one with this machine and would never consider selling. It took some time, but I'm good with it now. I used it at three different lakes last week!! Still looking for my big score (GOLD). AT Gold will find it all. Have fun and keep us posted.

I have put a post up about air test for at gold and pro. Do get yourself the 11 inch dd coil for the AT Gold, 14 inches will be a great coin depth, also get some gray ghost or similar headphones helps with those faint deep sounds.
