AT Gold on coin silver

Was wondering if any of the AT Gold users could post on how well/poor the AT Gold does in finding us silver coins. How strong are the signals relatively speeking, how deep are you finding them?

The AT Gold is not as hot on silver as it is on gold, but I found silver where I had detected several times with another brand machinethat most owners brag about. I found a silver dime at 8-9 inches in DISC 1. It ID'd 82 and had a somewhat faint high tone. You won't get that deep in powder dry ground. Found other coins in damp sand at 12 inches (maybe more), but they did not ID correctly. Just got a small blip. This all with the 5x 8 double D coil.
