AT Gold on a Salt Beach, has anyone tried it?

I live in LA and have access to gold prospecting and Surf hunting and I can not decide between AT Pro or AT Gold. I see the AT Gold is not recommended for Salt beaches. Has anyone tried it? Will it work at all? Or is it just spotty with lots of interference?
 
bokerfest, If you want too Hunt in Gold Country and Wet salt get a AT-Pro , And put a small coil on it for in the Gold country,
The AT-Gold wont Ground Balance in the Wet salt , But it will G/B on the dry sand and can Detect,
Maby somebody will chime in with more INFO, Mickfin
