Been out water hunting three trips looking for a womens hand case gold pendent with some of her fathers ashes in it. Anyway only finding one gold ring, v nickels, indianhead pennies, silver dimes and wheat pennies and tiny splitshot sinkers. But i will keep looking! Love this detector my other water machines are sitting on the shelf. Garrett has a good one here!

Probably because there are too many gold rings, v nickels, indianhead pennies, silver dimes and wheat pennies masking the pendant! :bouncy:

I am digging everthing 40 and above, stuff i can't even see thats how hot the AT Gold is! This is a private freshwater beach dates back to the early fifties. I am the only one hunting it. If indeed it is there i will find it, in the mean time i will just keep digging old coins to get them out of the way!

I've got over 100 hours on my AT Gold and the more I use it, the more I :inlove: it.

The picture is of a pierced stud ear ring that I found outside a sand volleyball court yesterday at 3 inches........I dug if for a zincoln.....surprize........ 2/10ths gram of 925.......... x-tra loud and clear.

It suprising how small the targets are that it will pickup. A couple of my buddies were using them in our mountain streams with the sniper coil and detecting small flakes of gold.
