AT Gold in fresh water lakes

I use one in the water with heavily mineralized ground (mid 80's) with the 6x8 and sometimes the 11x8 coils.

I run my ATG in Disc 1 and dig everything above Iron (Iron disc set at 38-40). So I would expect slightly deeper in all metal. My experience would be ~6" with smaller coil maybe ~8" with the larger coil. Mild ground and All Metal should give you another inch or so.

Good machine for the money.

You are in Michigan and UNLESS you are in heavily sanded lake Michigan, a ring will settle a lot shalower than the AT-Pro detects. I don't have one but I know three people here that do and they do pretty good. One has just 2 less rings than I do and I am up to 29.
