At Gold finds Spanish piec of eight in tot lot

Took my trusty At Gold to a tot lot this morning. Imagine my surprise. My first dig was a Spanish coin. Now...since I live in West central Missouri with the nearest ocean over a thousand miles away, I didn't exactly do the happy dance. It's a pretty nice repo. It's not light aluminum. It's got some heft to it and is as thick as a silver dollar. Al in all, an interesting find. Didn't dig a lot of stuff. Found a key, a couple of interesting buttons, a Pizza Street token and a Boy Scout tie clasp. Did find a 1940 D wheat penny along with a couple of quarters and a dozen pther pennies. Always nice to be out and digging in the fresh air.

Thanks for lookin' and keep on diggin'

I remember one poster a few years back found a genuine Peace Dollar in one! Most all the foreign coins I find are in totlots..kids take them in to show n tell or something I figure..good hunting there Jimmy!:please:

Not to burst your bubble, but your sure that's thing's real? I hope it is, but I've found a few fakes over the years. One was on a beach in Florida and had me excited until I checked it out.
